چکیده

Background . Molecules of the major histocompatibility complex in cancer are currently being widely studied, and their clinical significance is still subject controversy. It reported that they might have an important predictive value effectiveness immunotherapy. The study expression HLA molecules status breast provides a deeper understanding biological properties tumor, particular to identify features its immunological phenotype, which may further influence on therapy. Aim To evaluate frequency HLA-immunophenotypes relationship with morphological primary tumor. Materials methods This included 82 patients who received treatment at N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center Oncology, Ministry Health Russia. Immunophenotyping tumor was performed by immunofluorescence cryostat sections. reaction evaluated using ZEISS Axioscope 5 luminescent microscope (Zeiss AG, Germany). dominated stage IIB 54 %, IIA detected % cases, IIIA – 12 IIIB 21 IIIC 8 %. Infiltrative ductal diagnosed 67 ( n = 55), infiltrative-lobular 22 cases 18), other types 11 9). immunophenotypes studied depending characteristics cancer. Results found group as whole, HLA-binegative immunophenotype predominant. T4 compared HLA-I + /HLA-DR phenotype (100 0 %), p 0.042. At same time, it should be noted also observed. this stage: higher than 60 40 0.01. Both HLA-DR-negative were characterized high incidence lymph node involvement absence estrogen receptor expression. 80 receptor-negative tumors , 0.022; similar data obtained for 0.037). Conclusion analysis revealed second most common HLA-DR molecules. association process, size receptors revealed.

Correlation of Tissue Distribution of HLA-G and HLA-E and Degree of Tumor Malignancy in Patients with Breast Cancer

Background and Aims: Human leukocyte antigen (HLA) molecules play a substantial role in T Lymphocyte-mediated adaptive immune response. Down-regulation of HLA expression may help the tumor to escape from immune surveillance. This study aimed to evaluate the correlation between HLA-G and HLA-E tissue distribution and the degree of tumor malignancy in human breast tumors. Materials and Methods:...

Investigation of NK Cell Population in Peripheral Blood and Tumor Lesions of Patients with Breast Cancer

Background: Alteration in peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs) is usually investigated to provide an evidence of the host immune responses to tumor antigens. The tumor infiltrating NK cells interact most closely with the tumor cells and more accurately reflect tumor host interactions. Objective: To analyze peripheral blood and tumor associated Natural Killer (NK) cells in patients with breast ca...
